When does the 7-day Pro trial start?
After you confirm your email on the web dashboard. Signing up alone does not start the trial. Once confirmed, you get full Pro cloud features for 7 days with no credit card required.
Do I need a credit card for the free trial?
No. The Pro trial does not require a payment method. You only enter billing details when you choose to subscribe after the trial (or before it ends if you want uninterrupted access).
What happens when the trial ends?
Cloud sync, the web dashboard library, exports, and other Pro cloud features pause until you subscribe. Local highlighting in the extension continues to work without an active subscription.
Where do I subscribe and manage billing?
On the web dashboard at app.zetamarker.com — Settings → Subscription. Checkout and invoices are handled securely there (USD, monthly or yearly). This marketing site does not process payments.
I already use ZetaMarker but cloud sync stopped — what should I do?
After a recent product update, some existing users need a one-time account update on the dashboard to restore cloud sync. Sign in, follow the steps shown there, then refresh the extension. See our [account update guide](/docs/account-migration) for details.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes. Cancel from Settings → Subscription on the dashboard. If you cancel during the trial before subscribing, you are not charged. Paid subscribers keep access until the end of the current billing period.
What is the difference between Free and Pro?
Free includes unlimited local highlighting on web pages and PDFs in your browser. Pro adds cloud sync, the web dashboard, exports, cloud PDF storage, and advanced organization — see the plan cards above for the full comparison.
Are prices in USD only?
Yes. Pro is billed in USD ($3.25/month or $32.50/year). Taxes may apply at checkout depending on your location (handled by our payment provider on the dashboard).
How much cloud PDF storage does Pro include?
Pro includes 300 MB total cloud storage for PDFs you upload to the web dashboard — not a monthly upload limit. Each file can be up to 50 MB. There is no cap on how many PDFs you store, only total storage and per-file size. Delete PDFs from your library and empty Trash to free space.
