Copy highlights
Copy one highlight or all highlights on a page with source URL, export date, and notes from the extension sidebar.
Copy highlights to paste into notes, email, or other apps. Works on web pages and in the PDF viewer.
Copy one highlight
From the page:
- Click an existing highlight (or select highlighted text).
- Click Copy in the floating toolbar.
From the sidebar:
- Open the sidebar.
- Use the Copy action on a highlight card.
Toast: Copied to clipboard — plain highlight text only.
Copy all highlights
- Open the sidebar on a page that has highlights.
- Click Copy all in the page actions row (beside sort).
The button briefly shows Copied when successful.
Empty page: No highlights to copy
Error: Copy failed
Copy-all format
Copy all includes structured text like:

Note: Optional comment on highlight one [2] "Second passage."
Page title comes from your custom title or the browser tab title. Source URL is the page address.

In the page detail view, use Copy text on individual highlights or export for formatted downloads.
