Open a page in the dashboard
Open the current web page or PDF in the ZetaMarker dashboard from the extension. Requires sign-in and cloud sync.
Open in app sends you from the extension to the same page in the web dashboard — useful for labeling, bulk export, or reading on a larger screen.
Requirements
All of the following must be true:
- You are signed in to the extension.
- The page has synced to the cloud (the page has a cloud ID).
Local-only highlights without sync cannot open in the dashboard yet.
How to open
Extension (web or PDF sidebar/toolbar):
- Click Open in app in the sidebar top bar or PDF toolbar.
- Or press
Ctrl+Shift+U/Cmd+Shift+U.
A new tab opens to /app/page/{id} with your docs locale applied.
Dashboard routes:
- Web pages → page detail view
- Uploaded or online PDFs → PDF viewer (
/pdf/{id})
Error messages

On Drive or Docs tabs, Open in app opens the dashboard upload flow instead of a page detail view — see Google Drive and Google Docs.
