Share on social media
Share a page or highlight from the dashboard with social links or copy a shareable snippet.
Share lets you post a page or passage to social networks or copy text for elsewhere.
Open share (dashboard)
- Open Page detail for a web page or View PDFs in the dashboard for a PDF.
- Click Share in the header or highlights panel.
Share options
Typical choices (vary by locale and platform):
- Copy link to the ZetaMarker page view
- Copy text — highlighted passage text
- Social network buttons (X, Facebook, LinkedIn, etc.)
- Download — download share image or asset where available
What gets shared
- Link shares point to your page on ZetaMarker (requires recipients to have access if the page is private to your account)
- Text shares use the selected highlight text plus optional source URL
Extension
The extension focuses on copy and export rather than social buttons. Use Copy all or export formats from Export your highlights, then paste into your social app.
