What each shortcut does
Activate ZetaMarker
Injects the highlighter on the current tab. If no highlights exist yet, a toast says ZetaMarker is active. Select text to highlight.
Does not work on unsupported pages — see Google Drive and Google Docs.
Toggle sidebar
Opens or closes the highlights sidebar. See Open the sidebar.
Cycle theme
Rotates System → Light → Dark → System. A short toast shows the current theme (Theme: Light, etc.).
Theme cycling is disabled on Google Drive and Google Docs tabs (no content script there).
Quick Highlighter
Toggles Quick Highlighter mode on the current tab. Select text to save a highlight immediately with your preset color — no floating color toolbar. See Quick Highlighter.
Does not work on unsupported pages — see Google Drive and Google Docs.
Customize shortcuts
- Open the sidebar and click Shortcuts at the bottom, or go to
chrome://extensions/shortcuts. - Find ZetaMarker and assign your preferred keys.
If the link fails, open chrome://extensions/shortcuts manually — the extension shows Could not open keyboard shortcuts. Open chrome://extensions/shortcuts in your browser.
