Delete and restore
Soft delete, undo, Trash restore, and permanent deletion across the dashboard and Chrome extension.
ZetaMarker uses soft delete by default so you can recover mistakes quickly.
Delete from the library
Single page:
- Open Page detail or the library row menu.
- Choose delete — confirm if prompted.
Multiple pages: Bulk actions → Delete.
Result: pages move to Trash.
Toasts:
- Page moved to Trash
- Pages moved to Trash (bulk)
Undo (5 seconds)
Immediately after delete, click Undo in the toast. The page returns without visiting Trash.
Restore from Trash
- Open Trash.
- Click Restore on the page.
Toast: Page restored.
Permanent delete
From Trash:
- Delete Forever on selected pages
- Empty Trash for all items
Toast: Page deleted permanently. This cannot be undone.
Extension sync

Click sync when Sync: Pending changes (click Sync Now) to apply changes immediately. See Page deleted from cloud.
Delete highlights only
In page detail, select highlights and Delete selected — this does not move the whole page to Trash.
