Edit a page title
Rename how a web page appears in the ZetaMarker sidebar and dashboard library.
Why edit the title?
Websites often use long or generic <title> tags (“Home”, “Article”, etc.). ZetaMarker lets you give each page a custom title so you can find it quickly in the sidebar and pages library.
From the extension sidebar
- Open the ZetaMarker sidebar on the page.
- Click the page title at the top of the sidebar (or the edit control next to it).
- Type a new title and confirm.
The new title is saved with your highlights for that URL.
From the dashboard
If you use cloud sync, open the page in the page detail view and edit the title in the header. Changes sync back to the extension on that URL.
Tips
- Titles are per URL — two tabs on the same article share one title.
- Renaming a page does not change your highlights or page notes.
